At Talula's Table we believe that great food starts with the best ingredients, and we work closely with local farms and purveyors to bring seasonal, fresh dishes to our guests. We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to assist in the preparation of our handcrafted pastries and desserts. In this role, you will work closely with our Pastry Chef to prepare high-quality desserts and baked goods, ensuring each creation meets the high standards of Talula's Table.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistent quality and flavor in all pastry items. Work collaboratively with the Pastry Chef and kitchen team to execute desserts for daily service and special events. Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Assist with the packaging and presentation of desserts for special events or catering.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, or similar setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, equipment, and ingredients. A passion for baking, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong communication skills and a collaborative team attitude. Flexibility to work mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.
