Full-Time Sushi Chef We are looking for an experienced and skilled Full-Time Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong sushi preparation skills, excellent knife techniques, and experience handling different types of sushi-grade fish. The candidate should be able to prepare sashimi, nigiri, and sushi rolls while maintaining high standards of quality, speed, and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and rolls according to restaurant standards. Properly handle, cut, and prepare various types of sushi fish. Maintain precise knife skills and consistent food preparation techniques. Keep the sushi bar, tools, and workstations clean and organized at all times. Work quickly and efficiently during busy service hours. Communicate clearly and effectively with kitchen team members. Follow the Head Chef's instructions and adapt to the restaurant's preparation methods. Be willing to learn new techniques and follow our standards instead of only relying on previous workplace habits. Accept corrections from the Head Chef, fix mistakes immediately, and make sure the same mistakes are not repeated. Take responsibility for mistakes and focus on improving rather than making excuses. Qualifications Previous sushi chef experience required. Experience preparing sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, and handling various types of sushi fish. Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation. Ability to work fast while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Good teamwork and communication skills. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to different preparation styles. Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and maintaining a professional sushi bar.
