Hotel Búðir in Iceland is seeking an ambitious and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of Iceland's most remarkable destinations. We are looking for a professional with a passion for Icelandic ingredients, outstanding cuisine, and memorable guest experiences. The Head Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, menu development, quality control, purchasing, cost management, and responsible use of ingredients. The role also includes leading, training, and inspiring a team, organizing shifts, and ensuring that standards of hygiene and safety are maintained. You will work closely with the hotel manager and other departments to provide seamless, personal service. We are looking for someone with culinary training and experience, strong leadership skills, professional working methods, and organizational ability. Initiative, flexibility, and the capacity to remain calm and focused during busy periods are essential. Previous experience in a similar management position is an advantage.
