Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with attention to detail and consistency Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation Create visually appealing sushi presentations that enhance the dining experience Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service Manage ingredient inventory, monitor freshness, and order supplies as needed Develop new sushi recipes and menu items to keep offerings fresh and exciting Uphold cleanliness standards in the work area, including proper storage and disposal of ingredients Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including knife skills and rice handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Creativity in presentation and a passion for culinary arts, especially Japanese cuisine Experience working with diverse ingredients, including seafood, vegetables, and specialty items Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and communicate clearly with team members Join us if you're eager to craft exquisite sushi dishes that captivate taste buds and elevate our culinary offerings!
