Caregiver:

The candidate will serve as a representative of The Cove at Ventura TowneHouse, assisting residents, families, visitors, and staff both in person and over the telephone. This position combines front desk responsibilities with direct resident care and safety monitoring. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, incontinence care, transferring, and escorting residents to meals and activities. The position will also monitor cameras, gates, entrances, emergency response systems, perform safety rounds, maintain security logs, assist with packages and work orders, and provide general front desk support. We are looking for a dependable team player who communicates well, remains calm in emergency situations, and can provide seniors with comfort, care, compassion, and professionalism. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and able to meet California RCFE requirements, including DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, current First Aid certification, and a negative TB test. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are preferred. Must be available to work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
