Job Hours:

Required 21-35 hours per week. Shifts are either 6am-1pm or 1pm-8pm. Weekends and Holidays.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, animal loving, part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! You will be the person that the clients interact with the most so it is essential that you are outgoing and willing to always help.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet every customer with warmth and understanding. Efficiently check in and check out pets throughout the day. Create and manage large quantities of reservations. Communicate with customers effectively to reach positive solutions.

Job Requirements:

Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality. Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills both in person and on the phone. Must be tech savvy with Outlook and other programs. Must love animals- the barks, the hair, the messes, and of course the puppy kisses. Provide all dogs and cats with kindness and respect at all times. Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds.

Boast a client-centric mindset:

be able to build and maintain client relationships with both pet owners and pets to maximize return customers. Always put the customer first. Be passionate for the care of dogs and cats including their health and safety. Hold a strong work ethic. Have access to reliable means of transportation - be punctual. Previous pet care or animal experience is required. Open availability is preferred and weekends due are required. Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum age requirement 18+ years old.
