Guest Experience Coordinator Ministry Area:

Position:
Part-Time Position Purpose The Guest Experience Coordinator supports the Connections Team by helping create a welcoming, organized, and excellent experience for every person who attends Live Oaks Community Church. This role provides practical support to the Connections Team, coordinates guest-experience needs for special events, and provides direct leadership and oversight to the Parking Ministry.
  • Must be able to lift and place 20-30 parking cones and flags out every weekend.
  • The goal is simple: help people feel welcomed, cared for, and prepared to take their next step from the moment they arrive. Primary ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Connections Support
  • Support the Connections Team in creating an excellent weekend experience for guests and the church family.
  • Assist with weekend Connections needs and guest-facing ministry areas as assigned.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve the guest experience from arrival through departure.
  • Assist with volunteer communication, organization, and coordination.
  • Help ensure guest experience areas are prepared, staffed, and functioning effectively. Parking Ministry
  • Provide direct oversight and leadership for the Parking Ministry.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, encourage, and develop Parking Ministry volunteers and team leaders.
  • Ensure parking teams are prepared before weekend services and special events.
  • Develop clear parking procedures and traffic-flow plans.
  • Maintain appropriate signage, equipment, safety gear, and other parking resources.
  • Work with church leadership to address parking challenges and continually improve the arrival and departure experience. Special Events Support
  • Provide guest-experience and logistical support for church-wide special events.
  • Coordinate parking and arrival needs for major events.
  • Assist with hospitality, directional signage, volunteer placement, setup, and other guest-facing needs.
  • Work alongside ministry leaders and staff to ensure events are welcoming, organized, and prepared for guests. Team & Staff Coordination
  • Attend the designated weekly staff/ministry meeting.
  • Communicate regularly with Connections leadership regarding upcoming weekends, events, needs, and challenges.
  • Coordinate with other ministries when guest experience, parking, or special-event responsibilities overlap.
  • Participate in planning and evaluation of guest experience initiatives. Ideal Candidate

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
