About Us - Derm Collective North Shore Founded by board-certified dermatologists Dr. Rachel Pritzker and Dr. Todd Johnson, Derm Collective North Shore provides premier care in general and surgical dermatology, including Mohs surgery. We prioritize preventive care and healthy skin aging, and we are committed to empowering patients through education and personalized treatment plans. Our team culture emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and excellence. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Concierge & Aesthetic Coordinator to join our growing cosmetic dermatology clinic. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned aesthetics professional who wants to remain deeply involved in the cosmetic industry without maintaining an independent patient schedule or functioning as a treatment provider. The Cosmetic Concierge serves as a knowledgeable, trusted resource for our cosmetic dermatology patients and an essential partner to our providers. This individual will help patients navigate their aesthetic journey, support cosmetic consultations and treatments, coordinate personalized treatment plans, and ensure every interaction reflects an elevated level of service and attention. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring professional maturity, strong aesthetic knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal skills. An active or previous aesthetician/esthetician license and hands-on industry experience are highly valued; however, this position is intentionally designed as a support and patient-experience role rather than an independent service-provider position. Qualifications Significant experience in medical aesthetics, cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, or a closely related setting strongly preferred. Holds or has held an aesthetician/esthetician license or possesses comparable professional aesthetics experience. Strong knowledge of professional skincare and common cosmetic procedures and technologies. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple patient needs and priorities. Comfortable learning practice-specific technologies, products, protocols, and treatment offerings. Commitment to discretion, patient confidentiality, teamwork, and an exceptional standard of service. What You'll Do Cosmetic Patient Experience Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted resource for cosmetic patients throughout their experience with the practice. Understand patients' aesthetic interests and goals to help them navigate available services and treatment options. Provide knowledgeable, approachable education regarding cosmetic treatments, skincare, products, and the overall patient journey. Create a highly personalized, polished experience that builds patient confidence, loyalty, and long-term relationships. Follow up with patients after consultations and treatments to maintain continuity and ensure an exceptional experience. Anticipate patient needs and identify opportunities to make each visit feel seamless, comfortable, and thoughtfully coordinated. Provider & Treatment Support Partner closely with dermatologists and cosmetic providers before, during, and after consultations and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Assist providers during cosmetic consultations and procedures, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, lasers, and other aesthetic treatments. Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for documentation of patient information and coding. Perform patient intake, review medical histories, document treatments accurately, and assist with photography as appropriate. Prepare patients and treatment spaces for cosmetic appointments and assist providers with maintaining clinical flow as appropriate. Reinforce provider recommendations and help patients understand their proposed treatment plans, timelines, and next steps. Coordinate multi-step cosmetic treatment plans and future appointments. Maintain familiarity with the practice's cosmetic services, technologies, skincare products, treatment protocols, and pre- and post-care expectations. Help ensure cosmetic providers remain supported, organized, and able to focus their attention on patient care. Cosmetic Coordination & Growth Assist patients with scheduling and coordinating cosmetic services and treatment series. Maintain relationships with existing cosmetic patients through thoughtful follow-up and outreach. Support cosmetic events, promotions, educational initiatives, and patient engagement efforts. Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to identify opportunities to continuously improve the cosmetic patient experience. Help create an environment in which patients feel informed and empowered rather than "sold to." An Ideal Next Chapter for an Experienced Aesthetics Professional You may be an especially strong fit for this position if you have spent years working directly with aesthetic patients and still love the industry, patient relationships, skincare, and cosmetic medicine—but no longer want your career centered around performing treatments or building your own patient book . This role allows you to bring that experience to the patient experience in a different way: serving as a knowledgeable resource, trusted guide, provider partner, and familiar face for patients throughout their aesthetic journey. This is a cosmetic patient-experience and provider-support position. It is ideal for someone who wants to use their aesthetic expertise every day while working closely with patients and providers. It is not an independent treatment-provider position and is not intended to develop into an independent patient schedule. Derm Collective North Shore is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Reference and background checks required.
