Job Description

Our Firm Align Wealth Management is a private wealth advisory practice committed to providing personalized financial guidance and an exceptional client experience through professionalism, trust, and long-term relationships. Our clients rely on us for more than financial advice. They rely on our team to make complicated financial matters easier, follow through on important details, anticipate needs, and deliver a level of service that gives them confidence that things will be handled correctly. We are growing and looking for an experienced Client Concierge who wants to become an important part in delivering a "white glove" client experience. The Opportunity This is not an entry level client service or administrative position. We are looking for an experienced financial services professional who can quickly become a trusted resource to both our clients and financial advisors. You will work directly with high-net-worth clients, coordinate complex service needs, and take ownership of important client matters from request through completion. The work can range from everyday account and service needs to more complicated situations such as estate settlements, complex insurance applications, money movement, account transitions, and coordinating requests involving multiple professionals or institutions. Success requires more than following a checklist. You must be able to understand what a client needs, determine the appropriate next steps, manage multiple moving pieces, recognize when an advisor needs to become involved, and follow through until the matter is resolved. Just as importantly, we want someone who understands what exceptional service feels like. Our goal is to provide an experience so consistently responsive, professional, and personal that clients are comfortable referring their friends, family, and colleagues to Align. What You Will Do Serve as a primary service contact for high-net-worth clients and develop trusted relationships with the families you support. Partner closely with financial advisors to anticipate client needs and ensure commitments are carried through accurately and promptly. Own client requests from beginning to end rather than simply passing tasks to others. Coordinate complex client matters, including estate settlements, insurance applications, account transitions, money movement, beneficiary and ownership changes, and other sophisticated service needs. Communicate with clients, custodians, insurance companies, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals as necessary to move work forward. Prepare for client meetings and ensure required follow-up is completed. Maintain complete and accurate information within the firm's client management systems. Prioritize competing client and advisor requests while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. Exercise sound judgment regarding what can be handled independently and what requires advisor involvement. Identify opportunities to improve workflows and create a more consistent and efficient client experience. Help clients effectively use the technology and resources available through Align. Support client events and other initiatives that strengthen client relationships. Protect confidential client information and consistently follow firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who has already demonstrated that they can handle meaningful responsibility in a financial services environment and is ready to contribute quickly.
The strongest candidates will have:
5+ years of relevant experience in wealth management, financial advisory services, private banking, trust or estate administration, insurance, brokerage, or another sophisticated financial services environment. Significant experience working directly with clients and handling complex service requests. A track record of managing important work independently and following through without requiring constant supervision. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately when dealing with sensitive financial information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the professional presence to work comfortably with high-net-worth clients. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment and the confidence to solve problems while recognizing when something should be escalated. Experience working within established compliance and regulatory requirements. Comfort learning and working within CRM, financial services, and other technology platforms. A collaborative attitude and willingness to step in wherever needed to create an exceptional client experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree. Securities licenses and/or insurance experience are a plus but are not required. What Success Looks Like Within a relatively short period of time, our advisors should be comfortable trusting you with important client matters, and our clients should view you as someone they can call when they need help. Over time, you will know the clients you support, understand their preferences, anticipate needs, and make it easier for advisors to focus on advice and relationships. Clients should feel that when they contact Align, someone knowledgeable takes ownership and makes sure things get done. That is the standard we mean when we talk about delivering a referable client experience.
