Monroe, MI What You'll Do In This Role:
The Day Center Concierge is a welcoming and essential part of the participant experience, creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment from the moment participants arrive. This role provides hands-on support throughout the day while helping participants feel comfortable, connected, and cared for. With a flexible, team-oriented approach, the Concierge works alongside front desk, day center, clinic, and rehabilitation teams to keep daily operations running smoothly and ensure every participant receives the attention, safety, and support they deserve. 04 / hour Reporting To Amanda Logan Key Responsibilities Center-Based Participant Services ADL support, ambulation assistance, and one-on-one supervision. Transportation within the center (e.g., to clinic or therapy appointments). Activity facilitation and integration of new participants into the program. Reception and front desk coverage, including visitor tours. Support during inclement weather, including scripted calls and home care assignments. Clinical and Medical Support Services On-site support for clinical appointments (e.g., vision, dental, podiatry) including: Reminder calls, participant preparation, rooming, sanitation, and documentation. Accompaniment and support during community-based medical appointments. Interpreting support as requested by interdisciplinary team members. General Operational Flexibility & Team Support Provide backup coverage in operational roles as needed, such as day center concierge, dietary aide, and/or reception activities to ensure continuity of service. Respond to urgent or last-minute staffing needs (shifts, events, transportation changes) and support the team's flexibility in service coverage. Participate in staff training, in-service education, and meetings as required; stay updated on center procedures, safety protocols, and participant care standards. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise At least one year of experience working with frail elderly or long-term care populations Possess current CPR certification and/or and able to obtain within 90 days of hire. Possess ServSafe Food Handler Certification and/or able to obtain within 90 days of hire. Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance High school diploma or GED Job Benefits Career Growth & Development
