Social Services Weekend Facility Liaison Position Summary-

• The Social Services Weekend Facility Liaison plays a key role in supporting weekend operations and ensuring a positive experience for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This position serves as the primary administrative representative during weekend hours, maintaining smooth facility operations in the absence of supervisory leadership. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, professional, and committed to providing exceptional service while advocating for resident well-being and maintaining compliance with facility policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Resident & Family Support Serve as the weekend administrative liaison for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Promote and protect resident rights while ensuring resident dignity, comfort, and quality of care. Address questions, concerns, complaints, and grievances in a professional and timely manner. Observe resident appearance, comfort, and psychosocial well-being throughout the facility. Facility Operations Assist in maintaining smooth day-to-day weekend operations in the absence of supervisory staff. Conduct facility rounds to monitor cleanliness, safety, odor control, hallway appearance, parking areas, and resident common areas. Ensure weekend activities and programming are conducted according to the activity calendar. Observe meal service and resident participation in activities. Assist with planned resident activities as needed. Admissions & Administrative Duties Complete weekend admissions and pre-admission documentation in accordance with facility policy. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families. Maintain adequate marketing materials and department resources. Pick up, sort, and distribute mail as appropriate. Communication & Compliance Maintain strict confidentiality of resident, employee, and facility information in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards. Collaborate effectively with administration, medical staff, volunteers, and interdisciplinary team members. Immediately report concerns involving abuse, neglect, or suspected criminal activity. Adhere to all facility policies, compliance standards, and professional codes of conduct. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience & Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer and office equipment proficiency. Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Knowledge of the needs and limitations of elderly and geriatric populations preferred. Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the public. Schedule:
8AM-4:30PM Compliance Requirements Must complete all state-required pre-employment and annual health screenings, including Tuberculosis (TB) testing. Must comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
