Position Summary UniSea is seeking a Seasonal Cook I to join the Harbor View Bar & Grill team in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. This position is responsible for preparing and setting up cold food items, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting the kitchen team in providing quality food and service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and set up cold food items, including salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and other menu items. Maintain an organized, properly stocked workstation and rotate products as needed. Monitor product levels and communicate restocking needs to the Chef. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, equipment, and food preparation areas. Work collaboratively with kitchen and wait staff to provide quality food and customer service. Assist with training new hires to ensure UniSea standards and procedures are followed consistently. Follow UniSea food safety, workplace safety, and operational standards, and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications Education & Training High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1-3 years of cold food preparation experience. Experience & Skills Knowledge of basic cooking areas, with an emphasis on cold food preparation. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Good communication and interpersonal skills. Pay & Benefits This is an hourly non-exempt position with a rate of $17.50 per hour. Medical/Dental/Vision insurance available after eligibility period is satisfied.
