Job Description:

Yamashiro Hollywood is seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to preparing high-quality food in an upscale environment, ensuring consistency and efficiency while maintaining the standards of excellence expected at Yamashiro. As a Line Cook, you will work closely with our chefs to create exquisite dishes, uphold food safety standards, and deliver an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant's menu and presentation standards Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all equipment and utensils are in good working order Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage, handling, and cleanliness Ensure all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner Work as a team with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and effective kitchen environment Stay updated with menu changes, special events, and seasonal ingredients

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in a fine dining kitchen or related culinary experience Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety protocols Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude A passion for food and creativity, with a strong attention to detail
