Job Summary:

Lecavalier Cellars is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to join our tasting room culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and supporting a creative, collaborative kitchen environment. Under general supervision, you'll work as part of a team to support tasting room operations in a manner that achieves the established financial goals, ensures a rich consumer experience, builds consumer loyalty and reflects the brand essence.

Tasting Room Operating Days:

Wednesday -

Sunday Responsibilities:

Ability to read prep lists and perform daily prep needs Ability to use a variety of different knives Can use measuring tools for accutate preparation Can operate kitchen cooking equipment Can operate commercial food slicer Can read and make recipes Understant proper FIFO principles of food storage CAYGO (Clean as you go) throught the shift Keep refrigeration organized Assist with washing dishes Help with production during operational hours Foolow opening/closing checklist provided by Executive Chef Knowledgeable of food menu and daily specials Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate At least 1 year of line cook & commercial kitchen experience Strong attention to detail and time management Clean, professional appearance Required to work weekends, hoidays and other shifts as requested by management Required to lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds. Required California Food Handler and TIPS certificiation Ability to stanfd for extended periods of time Required to be 21 years or older Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a small team Have reliable transportation to work

Compensation:

Hiring Range Posted:

$22/ hr to $26/hr depending on experience.
