Riverdale Joint Unified School District is a K-12 school district with four campuses, Fipps Primary (K-3), Riverdale Elementary (4-8), Riverdale High School (9-12) and Horizon High Continuation School (9-12). Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Food Service Manager, the employee is expected to assist in the food preparation of the daily breakfast and lunch programs and cook and prepare foods as assigned by the immediate supervisor. The employee is expected to prepare, cook, and help serve a variety of foods in quantity and to assist in the maintenance of a school cafeteria so that students are served attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness. The employee will assist in baking, food preparation, setting up serving lines and lunch room, prepare general clean-up tasks, store equipment and food supplies, and supervise student assistants. Must possess the ability to work independently with little direction and work cooperatively with others.
