Key Requirements:

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Flexible schedule Task-driven individual

Responsibilities:

Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the owner (chopping vegetables, butchering/pounding meat, preparing sauces, etc.) Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line Food preparation and portioning prior to service Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment Clean up station and take care of leftover food (try to minimize food waste as good as possible) Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Also, servers voluntarily share some of their tips with the kitchen. So, you can expect some additional income through tip sharing.
