Job Summary:

6:30am

• 9:30am Shift Monday Through Friday We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our daycare team.

As a Daycare staff member, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include preparing nutritious meals, shopping at grocery stores, relieving teachers for break , possible supervising children when short-handed and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in a daycare setting
• Assist with meal preparation, following food safety guidelines for Georgia Nutrition
• Create a positive and inclusive environment for children to learn and play
• Monitor children's activities to ensure their safety at all times
• Help with basic caregiving tasks such as diaper changing and bathroom assistance
• Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the daycare facility

Experience:

• Previous experience in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen and food preparation procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is beneficial
• Culinary or cooking skills are an asset

Skills:

• Ability to work well with children of different ages
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines accurately
