Job Summary We are looking to hire a full time cook! Flexible hours, weekdays only. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes a guidelines Assist with menu planning to meet nutritional and customer preferences Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed in compliance with food safety standards Support kitchen operations including cooking, food preparation, and plating of dishes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Follow food restriction orders to accommodate dietary needs Uphold all health regulations and safety protocols within the kitchen environment Washing rags and bibs after each meal Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Experience with menu planning and meal assembly in a healthcare or hospitality setting Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation practices Ability to adapt recipes for special dietary needs and restrictions This position is ideal for individuals dedicated to providing nutritious meals, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and service excellence.
