Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of dishes with precision, maintaining consistency and presentation standards Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, cleaning workstations, and maintaining equipment Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements based on culinary trends and guest preferences Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Contribute to catering events and special meal preparations as needed Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is required Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering enhances your suitability for this role Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting with excellent teamwork skills Culinary experience or background in the food industry will support your success in this position
