Job Description

Position Description:

Cook performs duties under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor. The duties of this position require direct and continuous contact with juveniles in confinement who are suspected of or convicted of offenses against the laws of the State of Louisiana. May be required to work rotating shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Specific Duties:

Prepare meals as directed by the Food Service Supervisor and menu cycle.
Ensure food preparation area is clean and well maintained after meal is served.
Ensure dining area is clean and well maintained after meal is served.

Educational Requirements:

High school degree or General Equivalency Degree
Demonstrated knowledge of food service and ability to prepare and serve meals

Pay:

From $10.00 per hour
