Our ideal candidates are hard-working team members that have a positive attitude! Candidates with experience in Long Term Care (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living) are preferred, but not required. Duties include knowledge of therapeutic diets, supervisory skills, ServSafe a plus, good cooking skills, etc. Experience in geriatrics is not required but preferred. Please apply here on Indeed! Responsibilities Prepare and cook nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of residents in a small nursing home setting. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Supervise kitchen staff and assist in menu planning to provide a variety of meal options. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain inventory of food supplies and manage food handling processes efficiently.
