Duties Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist in cooking and assembling meals, maintaining proper portion sizes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and fryers Follow strict food safety protocols to handle ingredients properly and prevent cross-contamination Maintain cleanliness of workstations by cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly during shifts Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth operation during busy hours Experience Previous food industry experience in a breakfast restaurant is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling practices Skilled in knife techniques such as slicing, dicing, and chopping with precision and safety Experience with food preparation, meal assembly, and recipe adherence in a fast-paced environment Ability to operate various kitchen equipment confidently and safely Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on food production tasks Join to Buppa's Breakfast to be part of an energetic team dedicated to culinary excellence!
