Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to uphold food safety standards. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or food service setting is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, knife skills, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence. Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food safety management practices. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and slicers. Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members. Familiarity with menu planning, meal prep, and catering operations is a plus.
