As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Requirements Previous experience in restaurants is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills The restaurant is open 7AM-2PM, Thursday-Sunday. Clock in time is 6-630AM, clock out time is when clean up is done. Punctuality and good attendance is crucial. Bustling family owned business for over 30 years.
