The Woodshed Bar & Grill | Ottertail, MN. We're looking for cooks, but we're also looking for people who have never considered restaurant work before. You do not need culinary school. You do not need years of kitchen experience. You do not need to know our menu before you walk through the door. You need to show up. You need to work. You need to learn. You need to take pride in the food you put on somebody's plate. We'll handle the training. The Woodshed is a busy restaurant. Our kitchen moves fast, especially when the dining room fills up. You'll learn how a commercial kitchen operates, how to work different stations, how to prepare our food, and how a strong kitchen crew works together. What you'll learn and do: Prepare menu items according to Woodshed recipes and standards Learn grill, fryer, sauté, prep, and other kitchen stations Prepare steaks, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, entrées, and daily features Learn proper food handling and kitchen sanitation Prep ingredients for service Keep your station stocked and clean Work with the rest of the kitchen when tickets start coming Learn timing, organization, and how to handle a busy service Take pride in every plate leaving the kitchen. People who have NEVER cooked professionally are welcome. We're willing to put our time into teaching someone who is willing to put their effort into learning.

Pay:

$16.50 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
