meal and nutrition guidelines as applicable. Accommodate approved food allergies and dietary restrictions. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen. Safely store, label, and handle food. Monitor food inventory and communicate when supplies need to be reordered. Keep accurate meal and food-service records. Follow proper food-safety and sanitation procedures. Work cooperatively with childcare teachers and administration. Qualifications Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred. Experience preparing food for children is a plus. Food-handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain one. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation. Reliable, punctual, and organized. Able to work independently and follow a set menu. Must meet all applicable childcare employment and background-check requirements.
