Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
• Ensure food is cooked and served in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the chef or manager

Requirements:

• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
• Proficient in using kitchen equipment, including knives and other tools
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
