We are looking for someone who knows their way around a busy pizza shop or restaurant kitchen and can confidently handle more than one station. The right person takes pride in the food they put out, works well with others, and understands that great customer service is just as important as great food. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas consistently and efficiently Stretch and work pizza dough and properly portion toppings Prepare sandwiches, subs, and other menu items Safely operate a fryer, grill, ovens, and other commercial kitchen equipment Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines Complete food prep and keep stations stocked and organized Maintain a clean and sanitary work area Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements Assist with opening and closing duties Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner periods Interact professionally and positively with customers when needed Work as part of a team and jump in wherever help is needed What We're Looking For Previous pizza-making and/or restaurant line-cook experience required Experience with pizza ovens, grills, fryers, sandwiches, and food preparation strongly preferred Able to work quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy Dependable and able to show up on time for scheduled shifts Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Friendly, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills Able to communicate and work well with coworkers Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant lifting and kitchen duties Availability for nights and weekends as needed Why Join Northwood Pizza Company?
