The Morrison Nursing Home, part of the Morrison Communities, is seeking a full time Dietary Manager/Cook for the Morrison Nursing Home facility. This role will oversee the food production, cooking, sanitation procedures, and the delivering of a meaningful meal experience for our residents. The Morrison is a 57-bed, non-profit, Skilled Nursing Facility located in Whitefield, New Hampshire. Our team is committed to creating a warm, home-like environment where residents and staff feel valued and supported. The Dietary Manager/Cook oversees and assists with cooking and meal preparation based on established menus, regulations, polices, procedures and best practices, to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided daily, and the Dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. The Dietary Manager/Cook assists in the training of food service staff. Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events. Supervises the storage and care of food, supplies and equipment. Occasional early morning, evening, weekend hours required, so must be flexible with shift coverage. QUALIFICATIONS

Must have 5 years of food service experience in healthcare, restaurant, or other food service industry involving the planning and preparation of food in large quantities. Knowledge of state and federal food-handling and kitchen regulations Must possess a managerial Serve Safe Certification. Managerial & Leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading successful teams. Must have flexibility with schedule and must be able to communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, family members and visitors. Basic computer skills.
