Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for taste and presentation. Your expertise in menu planning, inventory control, and food handling will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Assist in menu planning and development to ensure a diverse and appealing selection. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to minimize waste. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient shift management during service hours. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring timely and high-quality food service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Support banquet preparations by assisting with large-scale meal production. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with menu planning, inventory control, and food handling regulations. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
