Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting in meal assembly, and supporting the kitchen's smooth operation. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment committed to culinary excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients through precise slicing, dicing, and portioning using knife skills and proper techniques. Assist in assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations. Support menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials and standard menu items. Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination during meal prep. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and uphold quality standards. Experience Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Proven background in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production. Experience with meal preparation, catering, or large-scale food service operations is a plus. Knowledge of recipe adherence, food handling techniques, and proper use of kitchen tools such as knives and slicing equipment. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen team members. Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.31 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
