Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and menu. Your role will involve ensuring food safety, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to provide high-quality meals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
• Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appealing manner
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to plan menus and coordinate meal preparation
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management and control
• Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste

Skills:

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a Cook
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
