The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
• Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Support the chef in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to recipes.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
• Assist with unloading and storing kitchen deliveries.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from kitchen supervisors.
• Physical stamina to handle tasks that require standing, lifting, and moving heavy items.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
