We are looking for an ambitious Prep/Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced scratch kitchen. Can follow all kitchen protocols, recreate recipes, take direction/feedback from the Executive Chef. Has an interest in continued professional development, food and spirit pairings, and craft cocktail culture. Responsibilities Follow the prep list/recipes created by the Executive Chef Undertake essential cooking duties and execute menu items with consistency Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Comply with food safety guidelines Perform other kitchen duties as assigned Communicate effectively and efficiently with Front of House staff to ensure the best possible customer experience Must have access to reliable transportation (and child care, if applicable) Must be punctual and ready to work Skills Prior kitchen experience or training from a culinary school Excellent foundational knowledge of cooking/baking Adherence to health and safety protocols in a kitchen Able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils A team player with good communication skills Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure Able to lift 50# and maneuver stairs Self-motivated and detail-oriented
