Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently Ensure all food safety sanitizing procedures are followed rigorously to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace Manage food handling and storage practices in compliance with health regulations Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to support consistent quality and presentation Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve perfect crusts, toppings, and cheese melt Maintain high standards of food production, adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and portion control Support the team during peak hours by preparing ingredients for other dishes as needed Requirements Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, including fine dining or high-volume production environments Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and sautéing Knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or modifications Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail in meal preparation and presentation Prior catering or food service experience is advantageous for managing large orders or events Join us as a Pizza Maker where your culinary talents will shine!
