Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, storage guidelines, and safety regulations. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards. Experience Previous experience working in a food industry setting such as a restaurant or catering service is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards during production. Communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and team members. Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently is essential for success in this role. Buffet experience is a plus.
