Truffle Pig Craft Kitchen Located in the heart of the Rogue Valley, at The Phoodery in Phoenix Oregon. The Phoodery is a casual outdoor dining community that host 5 restaurants and a central taphouse with views atop our roof top seating and alfresco dinning under the shade of the maple tree and our covered outdoor pavilion. Open Thursday- Tuesday 11am to 9pm & 11am-10pm Saturday & Sunday.

BASIC FUNCTION

Cashier/ Entry Level Cook Position are responsible for engaging with customers and providing friendly service. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace. Daily tasks include washing dishes, cleaning, lite food prep, cash handling and use of Point of Sale. All Team Members are to provide sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Efficiently use Point of Sale System. 2. Open and close cash till and handle cash transactions. 3. Keep station stocked and up to par. 4. Keep up on dishes though out shift. 5. Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes. 6. Carefully inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest standard in the preparation of mis-en-place. 7. Prepares daily food items for production using the appropriate portion size, cut and cooking method. 8. Maintains sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the state and local Health Board inspection and Truffle Pig requirements. 9. Communicates effectively with Kitchen Manager & Chefs in any projects that need to be done. 10. Is able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. 11. Is able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs, stand/walk up to 8-10 hours per day. 12. Is a team player and interacts with all guests and fellow Associates in a positive and friendly manner.

Reliable, quick learner Point of sale experience A positive attitude & enthusiasm Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language Must be able to HUSTLE Must have a clean and professional appearance Takes initiative Must have Nights & Weekend availability Must be in possession of (or able to obtain) a food handlers permit Good communication and personal skills Ability and stamina to spend an extended amount of time on your feet Working as a team a must Experience in high-volume preferred Must be able to work in ALL weather conditions
