Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with speed and accuracy, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure consistency across all dishes Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials based on ingredient availability and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service hours Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience working in fine dining or high-volume settings is highly desirable Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues Join us as a Line Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
