Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all food handling processes Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service Ensure all food is stored properly, rotated regularly, and handled in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and uphold quality control during busy periods Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for various cuisines Experience working in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests professionally Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
