Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team. applicants need to be available Friday-Sunday. Every week won't be required but these are the hours we are currently in need of. The ideal candidate will have some experience cooking in a commercial kitchen but we will train the right candidate if you don't have experience . As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise in menu planning and food handling will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols. Assist with special dietary needs as required, ensuring all meals meet guest specifications. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the culinary field. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with dining standards and meal preparation techniques. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
