Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and sanitation Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Adhere to all safety regulations, including knife skills and proper use of kitchen equipment Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurants or catering kitchens Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Experience with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practice Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities Knowledge of menu planning, food industry standards, and catering operations is advantageous A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences

Pay:

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
