Job Description

Cook 3/4 time (approximately 25-30 hours/week; am shift) cook needed for full-day preschool and child care center. Qualifications include : Minimum age - 18 years old. Experience cooking for groups of people preferred (restaurant, school, etc). Experience making home-cooked meals. Ability to work independently. Ability to work respectfully with children, teaching staff, and families.

Job Responsibilities :

Menu planning for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks. Meal preparation and portioning, following meal pattern. Housekeeping duties as relates to kitchen, pantry, and cafeteria. Food and supply ordering. Will be required to complete annual training in kitchen sanitation, food handling, and/or nutrition. Will be required to complete First Aid & CPR training within first 3 months of employment, and maintain thereafter.
