Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for culinary arts, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute to a high-quality dining experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing menu items according to specifications, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Support catering events and special functions as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Skills Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering kitchens Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Familiarity with food service operations, including serving and food prep for large groups or events We will pay based on previous experience and have room for promotion for exceptional staff.
