RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning

• Washing the exterior of the vehicle, including windows and door jambs, and vacuuming the interior Polishing
• Applying waxes, polishes, and protective agents to the exterior of the vehicle Treating
• Shampooing and deodorizing the interior seats and floors, and treating fabric surfaces with stain-resistant chemicals Inspecting
• Checking the vehicle for damage or imperfections, and documenting the condition in reports and photos Maintaining
• Keeping detailing equipment and supplies in good working order, and ordering new supplies when needed Communicating
• Collaborating with service advisors to meet customer expectations, and handling customer inquiries Transporting
• Driving cars to and from customer locations Safety
• Adhering to safety standards and using eye and hand protection Car detailing can be physically demanding, as it requires standing, bending, and working in different positions for long periods.

Detailers should be physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy objects.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license General knowledge of automotive components preferred
