Responsibilities Perform exterior vehicle washing using professional cleaning equipment and techniques to achieve a spotless finish. Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing to restore vehicle appearance and remove surface imperfections. Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, windows, and dashboard components to ensure a fresh, clean environment. Operate manual transmissions and standard passenger cars safely throughout the workday. Use automotive buffers and polishing tools to enhance vehicle exterior shine and paint quality. Follow safe work practices consistently while handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and performing heavy lifting tasks. Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Skills Experience with vehicle exterior washing, interior detailing, and automotive buffing techniques. Knowledge of vehicle paint correction processes and the use of automotive buffers. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in an auto detailing or car wash environment. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs. Familiarity with janitorial or custodial practices related to maintaining a clean auto detailing facility. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing during busy work shifts.
