Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and using automated car wash systems, ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers and polishing tools to restore a vehicle's shine and remove surface imperfections. Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and vents using appropriate cleaning equipment and custodial techniques. Apply safe work practices while handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and heavy lifting tasks to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility by organizing tools, cleaning supplies, and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. Operate manual transmissions and standard passenger cars safely during test drives or movement within the facility. Requirements Prior experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility work is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques, automotive buffing, and cleaning equipment operation is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling cleaning supplies or vehicles. Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and safe work practices in an automotive environment. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members. Experience with vehicle interior detailing, exterior washing, and custodial tasks related to auto care.
