Full Job Description Position Summary:

O.T.E Car Rentals is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Vehicle Operations & Support Intern to assist with day-to-day fleet management across two key locations: Camden Waterfront and Maple Shade, NJ. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in organization, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle delivery within a 25 mile radius. Vehicle Check-In & Cleaning Process Report to the assigned lot (Camden Waterfront Building or Maple Shade) at the start of your shift. Inspect returned vehicles for overall condition and cleaning needs. Drive vehicles to nearby wash facilities and return them for interior detailing.

For booked vehicles:

Upload mileage, fuel levels, and updated photos to the Turo app.

For unbooked vehicles:

Save updated photos to your device for future listings. Damage, Smoke & Violation Inspections Conduct detailed inspections for smoke odors, interior messes, or physical damage. Confirm each trip's mileage and fuel return match the rental agreement. Submit claims with clear photo documentation for any violations or reimbursement needs. Vehicle Delivery & Guest Support Assist with vehicle pickups and deliveries, including airport runs and client handoffs. Ensure every vehicle is properly cleaned, fueled, and documented before delivery. Provide a professional and courteous experience to guests during interactions. Errands & Operational Support Transport the owner to and from repair shops, tire centers, and mechanics when needed. Pick up and drop off essential items such as: Car seats Phone mounts and accessories Vehicle parts and maintenance supplies Administrative & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate records for each vehicle serviced or moved.

Track and log:

Fuel levels Mileage Condition reports Damage claims Completed deliveries and pickups Support smooth daily operations with thorough and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation to Camden and Maple Shade locations Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfort handling various vehicle types (sedans, SUVs, etc.) Smartphone with camera and internet access is required Flexible availability preferred, including weekends or evenings
