Job Description The lead attendant is responsible for directing cars efficiently and safely into the car wash while assisting the manager with duties in their absence. They'll also ensure site cleanliness, assisting customers with wash/membership selections, and inspecting vehicles prior to entry for existing damage/red flags for potential damage. Duties and Responsibilities Direct and supervise employees in the absence of the Site Manager Execute open & close duties and follow designated procedures Always be ready to assist customers with menu options and payment Provide customers with information and benefits of the Membership program Guide cars onto the track with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them on a daily basis as needed Constantly learns and becomes better in their leadership skills Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied Be polite and available to address all customer concerns and handle them in a professional manner Appreciates the intellectual challenge to learn all about the soaps and unique equipment we use to give our customers a clean, shiny, and dry car Identifies chemical usage to assist in the ordering/maintaining of a fully functional car wash Work safely and report safety or maintenance issues to management Assists with seeking opportunities for community outreach and sponsorship Provides customers a positive experience worth talking about Other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications Reliable transportation to and from work (required) Customer service (preferred) Prior car wash experience - 1 year (preferred) Proficient in Word, Excel, and MS Office (preferred)
