Looking for a job that can turn into a long-term career? Doug Smith Auto Group in American Fork is looking for a motivated Lot Technician to join our team. You'll work alongside our sales staff and help showcase an exciting inventory, including Subaru, Mitsubishi, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and a constantly changing selection of quality pre-owned vehicles. This is a great entry-level position for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced team. Many of our employees have started in support roles like this and advanced into Sales, Service, Parts, and Management positions. What You'll Do Keep vehicle inventory organized, clean, and customer-ready Move and stage vehicles for display and customer appointments Inspect vehicles for damage and report concerns Assist with inventory management and lot organization Support the sales team with vehicle preparation and presentations Help prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery Fuel vehicles as needed Deliver vehicles to vendors and other dealership locations Apply paint and fabric protection products Maintain the appearance of the dealership lot, lobby, and customer areas What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to stay organized and pay attention to details Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles Able to lift to 50 pounds Able to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods Must be at least 17 years old Previous lot attendant or automotive experience is helpful, but not required Must be able to pass a drug screen Why Join Doug Smith?
