Experienced Automotive Detail Technician Mobile & Studio Operations Ashburn, Virginia Full-Time | $18-$25 per hour (based on experience, skills, and qualifications) Join an Award-Winning Premium Automotive Appearance Studio Ducky Detailing is expanding and is looking for one or two experienced Automotive Detail Technicians to become part of our growing team. Ducky Detailing is looking for experienced Automotive Detail Technicians who care about craftsmanship—not just getting vehicles out the door. If you're passionate about premium detailing, enjoy working on everything from luxury SUVs to exotic sports cars, and want to continue building your skills in ceramic coatings and paint correction, we'd like to meet you. This position includes both mobile detailing throughout Northern Virginia and work inside our professional Ashburn studio. Responsibilities As an Automotive Detail Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering consistently outstanding vehicle appearance services while representing the professionalism of the Ducky Detailing brand.

Responsibilities include:

Performing high-quality interior and exterior detailing services Washing, decontaminating, polishing, and protecting vehicle finishes Assisting with paint correction and ceramic coating installations Preparing vehicles for delivery to company quality standards Operating company mobile detailing vehicles safely and professionally Maintaining a clean, organized work environment and properly caring for tools and equipment Conducting final quality inspections before customer delivery Communicating courteously with customers and coworkers Following company procedures for vehicle handling, safety, and customer care Assisting with additional automotive appearance and protection services as experience and training allow Minimum Qualifications We're looking for dependable professionals who enjoy producing exceptional work.

Applicants should have:

One year or more of professional automotive detailing experience A valid driver's license with a clean driving record suitable for operating company vehicles Reliable transportation to our Ashburn location Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform active detailing work throughout the day Excellent attention to detail Professional communication skills Authorization to work in the United States Availability for full-time employment, including occasional weekends Experience That Sets You Apart While not required, experience in any of the following areas is highly valued: Paint correction Machine polishing Ceramic coating installation Paint protection film installation Luxury or high-end vehicle detailing Mobile detailing Premium automotive protection services Window Film installation Leadership, mentoring, or technician training Customer consultations or sales experience Candidates with advanced technical skills, certifications, or specialized experience may qualify for higher starting compensation.
